… a Bit about the Beginning

How did the conversations begin? …they were all in my head…. I have always had seemingly unanswerable questions in my mind and hints of possible answers. In my attempts to uncover the truth buried in non-dogmatic directions, I have been drawn to the cutting-edge sciences and the massive amounts of information available to us on the world-web of today. While researching and extending my personal paradigm of life, I found that it was difficult to find others who knew anything about what I was talking about. There were limited conversations to be had….

At some point I realized that not everyone was aware of these fascinating and bizarre topics that I was discovering. It was then that I decided to compile some short-talk conversations into a book in hopes of inspiring others to take the subjects to a deeper level and just maybe, someday I could have face to face dialogue with other searchers that have found their passion for discovering who they are, and why they are here.

However, I am not a natural writer and the book is taking a long time, leaving many conversations on the shelf, finished and unread until the publication date. This seemed silly, so I set up this blog to find some good conversation, quicker.

Probably the most important discovery for me was the fact that many people do negative, self-bashing with statements like “I can’t understand things like that” or that’s not important to me”. This may be partially true, but why not replace the negative thoughts with neutral ones and at least entertain some of the conversations as a way to grow in knowledge. The topics I am interested in, and totally talk about, are head trips to understanding the truth of the way things are and spark ideas of the way things could be better.

A greater understanding of the way things are is beneficial to the individual and all future generations. Information is more powerful than money. Maybe if mankind set aside part of each day to reflect from a larger perspective, all would see the significance of finding their passion, and contributing to the continuance of mankind’s evolution. It doesn’t matter if you are a rocket scientist or a waitress. Think about it … a waitress actually effects a much larger number of people and has the potential to change their lives for the better, at many levels. All that one needs to explore the grander perspective of possibilities, is a free-thinking and open mind.

I have children and I want them to be able to have a fantastic, fulfilling life and live on a thriving planet. But, the way things are going in this world today, things are shaky. Understanding the importance of big perspective thinking is truely the only way to ensure the continuation of a thriving environment in which all lifeforms can evolve. We can’t fix a problem that we are unaware of. One person can’t do everything and we are all needed to pick our passion and take progressive steps to add to the whole. One can take baby steps or run out of the gate. All is good and everyone is needed.

These short, introductory conversations are ment to share with you topics that, hopefully, you will find eliciting a passion within yourself. The first step is to gain knowledge, develope a grander persepective and then to find your own unique contribution. So enjoy your journey and consider that you can make a contribution to change the world. First within your own mind, then within the world itself … it all starts with a friend and a conversation….
